Fêtes de la Nuit

Nanette is waiting for the love of her life. Sumiko has left Catherine but Catherine wants a second chance. Jean-François is a widower. Henry believes in love at first sight. Yvette is a cool customer. Sophie and Pierre are speaking a language all their own. Lartigue loves his Canard Apicius. Didier loves to argue with Roland. Roland loves to f***. Barbesco is a rockstar philosopher. Simone really is a goddess

A deliciously naughty valentine to life, Fêtes de la Nuit celebrates life and all things Parisian as it weaves together a pulsating collage of dance, music, language and drama. This New York Premiere of Charles L. Mee's play sensually expresses the beauty, complexity and passion of the human condition in relationship to the divine experience of lust and love. Set in a sidewalk cafe of 21st Century Paris, from first kisses to eternal bonds, Fetes reveals a quiet truth-it is our ability to give and receive love that makes us human.
